Somewhat non-traditional portrait of Michnari, pictured from the shoulder up. Michnari is a black man with a medium-length afro and a slight smile, looking off in the distance while holding a brass trumpet. He has a kind face; his expression is optimistic and content. The background is deep and vibrant green leaves at dusk. Using a double exposure film technique, dotted lights from a building at night are overlaid over his face.

The ultimate goal is for students to feel fulfilled by what they were able to accomplish and eager to press forward.
